Dunaway Hospitality Group Voted Foodie Favorite at Chefs’ Feast
Wins People’s Choice Award Second Year in a Row
(OKLAHOMA CITY) – March/April DATE, 2016 – Recently, the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma raised more than $111,000 to fight childhood hunger through its annual Chefs’ Feast event. For the second year in a row, Dunaway Hospitality Group received the most votes from guests and won the 2016 Foodie Favorite Award.
“We participate in the Chefs’ Feast because the proceeds help feed chronically hungry children in Oklahoma,” said Chef Dustin Dunaway, owner and president of DUNAWAY HOSPITALITY GROUP and C2 Catering. “We have a moral obligation to participate and support this cause.”
The Foodie Favorite Award is voted on by the more than 900 guests at the Chefs’ Feast Competition. This year, Dunaway Hospitality Group’s menu included: Shrimp and Grits Martini; Jumbo Cajun BBQ Shrimp a top Havarti Cheese Grits and Candied Bacon; Pan Seared Sea Scallops Served a top Sweet Potato Mash with Crumbled Pistachios, Caramelized Onions and Drizzled with Cinnamon Merlot Pear Jus; Bourbon Glazed Baby Back Ribs With White Casa Blanca Mac & Cheese; and Chef Shawn’s Famous 4 Pork Chili.
